Ronix Blunt Nose Skimmer Wakesurfer

The Ronix Blunt Nose Skimmer is a wakesurfer built for riders who want to progress tricks without fighting the board. The blunt nose design gives you a wider platform for stability on smaller wakes, while the thin pintail skim profile keeps you responsive when you're carving or setting up spins. You'll feel the difference on your first deep water start, this board tracks straight and pops cleanly off the wake.

The Element Core with wood laminate absorbs the chop so you're not getting hammered on every bump. Hard rails hold your edge through turns, and the blended grooved EVA pad keeps your feet locked in when you're committing to aerials. Two 1.8" nub fins and one 2.5" Blueprint fin give you the grip you need for controlled maneuvers without sacrificing speed.

This is the board for intermediate to advanced riders who want a skimmer that handles both flat water and small wake tricks.

Available in 48" and 58".

PERFORMANCE: Advanced / Intermediate
CONSTRUCTION: Element Core
THICKNESS: Thin
RAIL: Hard
PAD: Blended Grooved EVA
FIN SYSTEM: Button
FINS: 2 – 1.8" Nub & 1 – 2.5" Blueprint

The Ronix Blunt Nose Skimmer suits intermediate to advanced riders wanting to progress surface tricks and spins. Its blunt nose gives a wider, more stable platform on smaller wakes, while the thin pintail skim profile stays loose and responsive through carves and rotations.
The Ronix Blunt Nose Skimmer comes in 48" and 58". Choose by rider weight, with heavier riders suiting the longer 58"; check our wakesurf size guide if you're unsure which length fits best.
It uses an Element Core with a durable wood exterior to absorb chop, hard rails for edge hold, and a blended grooved EVA pad. The button fin system runs two 1.8" nub fins and one 2.5" Blueprint fin.
The Ronix Blunt Nose Skimmer is a skim-style board. It rides thin and loose for spins and surface tricks, though its blunt nose adds more stability than a traditional skimmer, making it a slightly more forgiving skim option.
Surf-style boards have more volume, thicker rails and larger fins, giving strong drive down the line and a surfy, wave-riding feel that suits most riders. Skim-style boards are thinner and flatter with smaller or fewer fins, so they sit looser and skatey on the wave, making spins, shuvits and surface tricks easier but taking more balance. Many riders start on a surf style and move toward skim as they progress.
Wakesurfer size is guided mainly by rider weight and skill: heavier riders and beginners suit a longer board with more volume for easier planing and stability, while lighter or more advanced riders can drop to a shorter, looser board. Board style matters too, as skim boards are usually ridden shorter than surf boards. Check the size guide or ask our team for a recommendation.
