Replacement laces let you refresh worn or broken laces on water ski or wakeboard boots so you keep a secure, supportive fit. Swapping tired laces restores quick, even tension across the boot without replacing the whole binding.
Check that the lace type matches your boot's closure, as bungee and lace-lock systems differ from standard flat laces. Compare the product description against your boots before buying, since lacing hardware varies between brands and models.
Remove the old laces by unthreading them from each eyelet or lace guide, then feed the new laces through in the same pattern and secure the ends per the closure system. Work one boot at a time so you can copy the original threading.
Rinse laces in fresh water after use to clear salt and grit, and check them for fraying before each session. Replace laces at the first sign of wear so a lace does not fail mid-session and leave your boot loose.
