The Ronix DNA Flyweight Pro suits intermediate to advanced riders ready to progress past the basics. It holds the wave with little pumping, so riders can focus on bigger airs and cleaner 360s. It rewards riders who commit, making it better for progressing than first-time surfers.
The Ronix DNA Flyweight Pro comes in 4 foot 2, 4 foot 5 and 4 foot 8. Lighter riders and those chasing a quicker, looser board suit the shorter length, while heavier riders wanting more drive suit the longer one. Our wakesurf size guide can match it to your weight.
The Ronix DNA Flyweight Pro pairs Flyweight Pro construction with USA S-Glass for a responsive feel through every edge and transition. Blended rails and a recycled EVA pad keep riders locked in, and the button fin system takes nub and flo-thru options so riders can tune the feel.
The Ronix DNA Flyweight Pro is a surf style wakesurfer built to hold the wave with minimal pumping. It favours driving turns, smooth flow and boosting airs rather than the loose slide of a skimmer, rewarding riders who commit to each move.
Surf-style boards have more volume, thicker rails and larger fins, giving strong drive down the line and a surfy, wave-riding feel that suits most riders. Skim-style boards are thinner and flatter with smaller or fewer fins, so they sit looser and skatey on the wave, making spins, shuvits and surface tricks easier but taking more balance. Many riders start on a surf style and move toward skim as they progress.
Wakesurfer size is guided mainly by rider weight and skill: heavier riders and beginners suit a longer board with more volume for easier planing and stability, while lighter or more advanced riders can drop to a shorter, looser board. Board style matters too, as skim boards are usually ridden shorter than surf boards. Check the size guide or ask our team for a recommendation.
