The Ronix Flyweight Atlantik comes in 4 foot 7, 4 foot 9 and 4 foot 11. Lighter riders and those wanting a quicker board suit the shorter length, while heavier riders or those after more float and glide suit the longer one. Our wakesurf size guide can match it to your weight.
The Ronix Flyweight Atlantik pairs Flyweight Pro construction with carbon stringers for extra kick and a light, reactive feel. A sharper skim-style rail in the tail lifts speed, and a wider tail improves pocket and down-the-line drive. Nub and pivot fins run on the button system.
The Ronix Flyweight Atlantik is a surf style wakesurfer, though its sharper tail rail adds a skim-like bite. It favours driving bottom turns, off-the-lip aerials and down-the-line speed, giving a powerful, ocean-inspired feel rather than the loose slide of a pure skimmer.
Surf-style boards have more volume, thicker rails and larger fins, giving strong drive down the line and a surfy, wave-riding feel that suits most riders. Skim-style boards are thinner and flatter with smaller or fewer fins, so they sit looser and skatey on the wave, making spins, shuvits and surface tricks easier but taking more balance. Many riders start on a surf style and move toward skim as they progress.
Wakesurfer size is guided mainly by rider weight and skill: heavier riders and beginners suit a longer board with more volume for easier planing and stability, while lighter or more advanced riders can drop to a shorter, looser board.
