The Ronix Osmo Skimmer is an advanced skim board designed with pro rider Dylan Matthews. Its wide, low-rocker profile keeps the tail lively while holding a stable edge, so it rewards experienced skimmers pushing deeper into the wave.
Ronix Osmo Skimmer sizing is guided by rider weight and skill, with skim boards generally ridden shorter than surf boards. As an advanced skimmer it rides thin and loose, so check our wakesurf size guide or ask our team for the right length for your weight.
It features new Speedwalls — urethane sidewalls built into the rails for durability and speed — over a wide, low-rocker Dark Matter core made with bio resin. It runs floating carbon Blueprint fins on the button system for tool-less setup.
The Ronix Osmo is a skim-style board. It sits thin and loose with a wide, low-rocker shape for a snappy, skatey feel, making spins and surface tricks easier while asking for more balance than a surf board.
Surf-style boards have more volume, thicker rails and larger fins, giving strong drive down the line and a surfy, wave-riding feel that suits most riders. Skim-style boards are thinner and flatter with smaller or fewer fins, so they sit looser and skatey on the wave, making spins, shuvits and surface tricks easier but taking more balance. Many riders start on a surf style and move toward skim as they progress.
Wakesurfer size is guided mainly by rider weight and skill: heavier riders and beginners suit a longer board with more volume for easier planing and stability, while lighter or more advanced riders can drop to a shorter, looser board. Board style matters too, as skim boards are usually ridden shorter than surf boards. Check the size guide or ask our team for a recommendation.
