Ronix RXT Floating Spectra Fusion Mainline

The Ronix RXT is a floating wakeboard mainline made from a 16-strand Spectra Fusion cover over a 100% Dyneema core, manufactured at Ronix's Holland factory. The Spectra Fusion construction gives a 30% higher strength-to-weight ratio than traditional Dyneema or Spectra rope, with Buoyant Technology that keeps the line on the surface between sets.

Total length is 85ft including the handle attachment point, broken into one 45ft section, one 10ft take-off, four 5ft take-offs, and two 2.5ft take-offs. That's seven take-off points — a granular set of shortening positions useful for tournament-style work where riders step the rope down half-foot at a time.

The cover is abrasion-free and snag-resistant. Choose the RXT mainline if you already have a wakeboard handle you like and want to pair it with a floating, non-stretch Dyneema-core line — the higher-spec sibling to the R8 floating mainline.

Its Buoyant Technology keeps the 16-strand Spectra Fusion line sitting on the surface between sets, so it's easier to manage and less likely to tangle. The Spectra Fusion cover over a 100% Dyneema core also gives a 30% higher strength-to-weight ratio than traditional rope.
It's 85ft total including the handle attachment, with seven take-off points — one 45ft section, one 10ft, four 5ft and two 2.5ft — so you can step the rope down half a foot at a time for tournament-style work. It's the higher-spec sibling to the R8 floating mainline.
Wakeboard ropes use low-stretch or no-stretch line so the boat's pull transfers directly for consistent pop off the wake, unlike the stretchier ropes used for combo skiing. They typically run 65 to 75 feet with shortening sections so you can tune your distance from the wake as you progress.
Most wakeboard ropes run 65 to 75 feet and include shortening sections. Beginners start longer, where the wake is wider and more forgiving, then shorten the line to where the wake is steeper for bigger air. A rope with take-off sections lets you adjust as you improve.
Rinse the rope and handle in fresh water after use, especially in salt water, and let them dry before storing out of direct sun. Coil the rope loosely to avoid setting kinks, and check the line and handle grip for fraying or wear before each session.
