    Yes. The Ronix Sonic Skimmer is a kids' skimmer for young riders up to 36 kg. Its wakeboard-style construction makes it stronger than most kids' surfers and easy to sink for deep-water starts, so groms can learn spins and ollies with confidence.
    The Ronix Sonic Skimmer comes in one 3'11" size and suits riders up to around 36 kg. It's a kids' board, so choose it by the child's weight rather than height; see our wakesurf size guide if you're unsure.
    It has a thin, hard-railed profile with machined EVA pads, a concave front pad and an extra tail kick. A three-fin setup adds tracking and stability, and it comes with a sticker kit — all sized and built for smaller riders learning to surf.
    The Ronix Sonic Skimmer is a skim-style board. It rides thin and loose so young riders can learn surface spins and ollies, while the three fins add tracking to keep it stable as they progress.
    Surf-style boards have more volume, thicker rails and larger fins, giving strong drive down the line and a surfy, wave-riding feel that suits most riders. Skim-style boards are thinner and flatter with smaller or fewer fins, so they sit looser and skatey on the wave, making spins, shuvits and surface tricks easier but taking more balance. Many riders start on a surf style and move toward skim as they progress.
    Wakesurfer size is guided mainly by rider weight and skill: heavier riders and beginners suit a longer board with more volume for easier planing and stability, while lighter or more advanced riders can drop to a shorter, looser board. Board style matters too, as skim boards are usually ridden shorter than surf boards. Check the size guide or ask our team for a recommendation.
