How to fit your vest
Yes — the Ronix Supernova is certified L50S (PFD 3) for smooth waters, and legal on a PWC in smooth water zones; beyond smooth waters, riders need a high-visibility Level 50.
The Supernova uses an anatomical ladies pro fit in 4-way stretch neoprene with Hyper-5 ultra-soft foam and internal-to-external segmentation, finished with coral detailing and a subtle cheetah print.
The Ronix Supernova comes in womens sizes 6 through 16. It's a pro-fit cut — size for snug so it stays seated through landings.
L50 and L50S carry the same buoyancy. The difference is colour: an L50 must be high-visibility, which is why PWC riders often wear them, while an L50S comes in any colour and is the usual pick for towed watersports. Which one is approved where depends on your state — see our state-by-state life vest guide.
Life vests are sized by chest measurement and weight (and by age for children). Match your measurements to the brand's size chart and do it up fully — a correctly sized vest is snug and won't ride up over your face when you lift at the shoulders. Check every buckle and strap holds firm.
Rinse the vest in fresh water after each use and dry it in the shade, out of direct sunlight. Check the buckles, straps, stitching, and flotation before each outing, and replace the vest if any part is damaged or the flotation is compromised.
