The Ronix Takeoff Marsh Mellow uses a soft-top deck over a bamboo base in its Marsh Mellow construction, giving a forgiving, dampened feel. A hybrid shape blends a longboard-style nose for speed with a fish tail for playfulness, and it rides three Blueprint fibreglass fins on the button system.
The Ronix Takeoff Marsh Mellow is a surf style wakesurfer aimed at beginners. It favours smooth, relaxed rolling down the line with strong forward momentum rather than loose skim slides, so newer riders can find flow and stay stable while learning.
Surf-style boards have more volume, thicker rails and larger fins, giving strong drive down the line and a surfy, wave-riding feel that suits most riders. Skim-style boards are thinner and flatter with smaller or fewer fins, so they sit looser and skatey on the wave, making spins, shuvits and surface tricks easier but taking more balance. Many riders start on a surf style and move toward skim as they progress.
