The Screw On Water Ski Fin suits most older timber slalom ski models that use a screw-on fin attachment system. It is a universal replacement fin for skis where the original fin has been lost or damaged.
As the name suggests, this fin screws directly into the underside of the ski.
The fin provides tracking stability and directional control on the water. A correctly fitted fin helps the ski run straight and allows the skier to carve predictable turns, which is particularly important for slalom skiing.
