The Super Sumo Pump uses Straight Line's fitting system. Compatibility with non-Straight Line ballast bags depends on the fitting type. Adapters may be available — contact Waterskiers World to confirm whether this pump suits your existing ballast setup.
The Straight Line Super Sumo Pump runs on 12V DC, compatible with standard boat electrical systems. Connect to your boat's 12V circuit using the included wiring harness or direct connection method specified in the pump's installation guide.
Yes — the Super Sumo Pump is reversible, allowing it to both fill and drain ballast bags by switching polarity on the pump motor. This makes it a complete one-pump solution for all ballast management on the boat.
Flush with fresh water at the end of each saltwater session. Inspect the impeller annually and replace if worn — a degraded impeller reduces flow rate significantly. Store dry when not in use to prevent internal corrosion of motor and housing components.
