Straightline Team EVA Long V Rope & Handle

The Straightline Team EVA Long V is a water ski rope and handle package built around a 13" EVA team handle with a 27mm Long V section. The Long V keeps the rope spread on deep water starts so the ski tracks straight out of the water, and Straightline's EZYUP float in the V keeps the assembly on the surface between rides.

The mainline is 5/16" tournament-grade 60-strand Polypropylene in a 5-section configuration, giving you course-friendly shortenings on a recreational package. The EVA handle bar suits skiers who prefer the feel of EVA over rubber.

Choose the Team EVA Long V if you find deep water starts hard work and want a tournament-grade mainline paired with an EVA Long V handle.

A water ski rope is defined by its construction, number of shortening sections, and bridle style. Recreational ropes use low-stretch polypropylene with a wide bridle for stability, while tournament mainlines use pre-stretched or knotless sections for consistent, repeatable shortening lengths. Match the rope to your discipline — combo and recreational skiing, slalom, or trick — and pair it with a suitable handle.
A regulation water ski mainline is 23 metres (75 feet) to the handle at its longest, and is divided into shortening sections or loops that let skiers reduce the length as speed and skill increase. Some recreational ropes are a single fixed length. Check the individual product listing for its exact length and section breakdown.
Rinse in fresh water after each use and dry before storing. Coil the rope loosely — tight coiling can set kinks that affect performance. Store in a cool, dry place out of direct UV exposure to preserve the rope and the handle grip. Inspect section connections for wear before each session.
