Binding rubber and overlays are the replaceable rubber components of a water ski boot. Swapping worn overlays, heel, or toe rubber rebuilds the fit and grip of a high-wrap binding without buying a whole new boot.
Replacement rubber and hardware are made to suit specific binding models and ski insert patterns, so fit is not universal. Check the product description against your exact binding and ski before ordering, as parts differ between brands and generations.
Remove the old rubber and its mounting hardware from the baseplate, then fit the new part in the same position and secure it with the supplied or original screws and clamps. Work on one binding at a time so you can copy the original layout.
Rinse the rubber in fresh water after skiing to clear salt and grit, and let it dry out of direct sun, which degrades rubber over time. Check the rubber and fixings for splits or looseness before each session and replace worn parts promptly.
