The Wing Mayhem is an Infant L50-certified life vest built with a full neoprene outer, a plush chin rest, and a neoprene padded crotch strap. The L50 rating gives Australian Standards approved buoyancy at the smallest end of the certified-vest market — for children 10-25kg.

The safety neoprene grab handle on the back lets a parent lift the child cleanly out of the water without grabbing at the vest body. Full neoprene construction stays soft against the skin and dries faster than nylon-shelled infant vests after a swim.

Choose the Mayhem Infant for towed water sports, jetski use, and general boating with very young children. Size 1-2 fits 10-15kg; size 3-4 fits 12-25kg.

How to fit your vest
An L50 is certified to Australian Standard AS 4758 Level 50 (PFD 2) and must be a high-visibility colour, which is why PWC riders choose it. The waters it is approved for are set by your state — see our state-by-state life vest guide.
L50 and L50S carry the same buoyancy. The difference is colour: an L50 must be high-visibility, which is why PWC riders often wear them, while an L50S comes in any colour and is the usual pick for towed watersports. It is weight-rated, with size 1-2 fitting 10-15 kg and size 3-4 fitting 12-25 kg. Fit it snug with the padded crotch strap fastened so it cannot ride up or slip off.
It is made from full soft neoprene with a plush chin rest for comfort, a padded crotch strap, and a safety grab handle on the back so a parent can lift the child cleanly from the water.
Rinse your vest in fresh water after every use and let it drip-dry out of direct sunlight before storing it dry. Check the straps, buckles, zips and foam regularly, and retire any vest with damaged fittings or compressed foam, as this can reduce its buoyancy and safety.
