Wing Orbit Jnr Life Vest

The Wing Orbit Jnr is a Kids L50S-certified life vest with independent flex chambers, a comfort skirt, and an internal belt system. The L50S (PFD 3) rating provides Australian Standards approved buoyancy for towed watersports — waterskiing, wakeboarding, wakesurfing, tubing, and kneeboarding.

Independent flex chambers let the foam panels move separately through rotation rather than locking the torso, useful when smaller-bodied riders shift weight during a turn. The comfort skirt sits at the bottom of the vest to stop it riding up on impact, and the internal belt system runs inside the vest body so there's no external strap to catch on the rope or board. Certified to Australian Standard AS 4758 Level 50S (PFD 3). What's required for children on the water varies by state and by age — see our state-by-state guide to lifejacket rules before you head out.

Choose the Orbit Jnr in Green if you want a Kids L50S (PFD 3) certified vest. Blue, Sky Blue and Purple are the other L50S options; the Orange colourway is L50 (PFD 2) certified.

Australian Standards Level 50S Approved

Available Sizes: 3-4, 4-6, 8-10, 12-14

Available Colours — L50S (PFD 3): Blue, Green, Sky Blue, Purple

Available Colours — L50 (PFD 2, high-visibility): Orange

How to fit your vest
The Wing Orbit Jnr comes in four kids sizes — 3–4, 4–6, 8–10 and 12–14. An internal belt system runs inside the vest body, so there's no external strap to catch the rope or board, and a single buckle lets young riders clip in themselves.
Yes — the Orbit Jnr is certified L50S (PFD 3) for towed watersports on smooth waters. The Green colourway is one of the L50S options; for PWC riding beyond smooth water zones, the Orange colourway is the Level 50 high-visibility version. Check your state's kids PFD rules.
A comfort skirt at the base of the vest resists ride-up on impact, and independent flex chambers let the foam panels move separately, so the vest turns with a small rider instead of lifting as one block.
L50 and L50S carry the same buoyancy. The difference is colour: an L50 must be high-visibility, which is why PWC riders often wear them, while an L50S comes in any colour and is the usual pick for towed watersports. Which one is approved where depends on your state — see our state-by-state life vest guide.
Life vests are sized by chest measurement and weight (and by age for children). Match your measurements to the brand's size chart and do it up fully — a correctly sized vest is snug and won't ride up over your face when you lift at the shoulders. Check every buckle and strap holds firm.
Rinse the vest in fresh water after each use and dry it in the shade, out of direct sunlight. Check the buckles, straps, stitching, and flotation before each outing, and replace the vest if any part is damaged or the flotation is compromised.
