The HO Fixed Rear Toe Plate (RTP) is a rear binding for slalom water skis that provides a fixed, non-adjustable toe hold for the back foot. It gives the rear foot a secure connection to the ski without the complexity of a full rear binding system.
The HO Fixed Rear Toe Plate is compatible with HO slalom skis that use the HO direct connect or standard insert mounting system. Check your ski's rear insert configuration against the plate mounting hardware before purchasing.
A fixed RTP provides a firm, consistent rear foot position that does not move during a run. Many advanced slalom skiers prefer the direct feel of a fixed plate, while beginners and recreational skiers may prefer the adjustability of an adjustable RTP for easier foot placement.
Mount the plate to the rear insert holes on your ski using the included hardware. Align the plate at the correct position for your stance and tighten all bolts securely. Consult the included instructions or contact Waterskiers World if you need fitting guidance.
Rinse the plate and all hardware in fresh water after saltwater use. Inspect bolts for corrosion and the rubber toe piece for wear or cracking. Replace the toe rubber when it no longer provides a secure foot hold during skiing.
