The HO Oxide Aluminium Fin Wing Set is designed for HO slalom skis that use the standard HO fin box system. Confirm your ski model's fin box type with Waterskiers World before purchasing to ensure correct fitment.
The wing is attached to the rear of the fin and provides additional lift to the tail of the ski. Adjusting wing angle affects how aggressively the ski accelerates out of turns and how much tail lift is generated, allowing skiers to tune performance to their style.
The fin slides within the fin box to adjust depth and fore-aft position, while the wing angle is typically adjustable via a set screw. Use a precision tool such as the Ski-Doc or Radar digital calipers to make repeatable, measurable adjustments.
Rinse the fin and wing in fresh water after saltwater sessions and inspect for nicks or burrs that could affect water flow. Check all screws for tightness before each session and apply a small amount of silicone grease to moving adjustment points to prevent seizing.
