The Proton is a plastic kneeboard that gives beginners the confidence to find their balance and nail their first runs, then rewards you with smoother turns as you improve. Its retractable fins let the board grow with you, from extra grip while learning to a looser, more playful feel as you progress.
A surf-inspired shape with a retractable fin system, deep tracking channels for stable landings, an easy-up handle hook for simple deep-water starts, and a PowerLock single locking knee strap.
Most kneeboards are one size that fits a wide range of adult and teen riders, with smaller junior boards available for young children. Choose based on rider weight and age, and make sure the knee strap adjusts to hold your knees securely. Our team can help if you are unsure.
Kneeboarding is usually done at around 20 to 30 km/h, slower for beginners and young children and a little faster for experienced riders doing tricks. Always start slow and build up speed as confidence grows, and agree a comfortable speed with your driver before each run.
Kneeboards are generally sold as the board only, without a rope. You will need a kneeboard-specific tow rope and handle, which we stock separately - just ask our team for a recommendation to suit your board and boat.
