If you're tired of rear toe plates that don't fit your foot shape or leave you uncomfortable after a few sets, the Stance Adjustable RTP is built for you. This rear plate works for skiers across all ability levels who want a boot that actually fits without compromise.

The static lace system lets you dial in the perfect fit for your foot size and shape—no more guessing, no more pain points. The GAIA PVC-free foam liner wraps your foot in genuine comfort, while the 6mm zero-drop orthotic footbed keeps your weight balanced and centred over the ski.

Built lighter and tougher than traditional rubber rear toe plates, the Ultralight Base uses nylon-reinforced construction to handle real-world riding without adding bulk. It pairs seamlessly with HO Stance and Stance ATOP front boots, giving you a complete system that works together.

One size fits all.

Yes. It's built for skiers across all ability levels who want a rear plate that fits without compromise. A static lace system dials in the fit for your foot size and shape, the GAIA PVC-free foam liner adds comfort, and the 6mm zero-drop orthotic footbed keeps your weight centred over the ski. The nylon-reinforced UltraLite base is lighter and tougher than traditional rubber plates. One size fits all, and it pairs with the HO Stance and Stance ATOP front boots.
A rubber (fixed) RTP is the simplest and cheapest rear — a moulded toe piece in a set position, good for recreational skiers and easy foot-out starts. An adjustable RTP (ARTP) lets you slide the toe piece forward or back to fine-tune your stance without re-drilling. A full rear boot holds your whole back foot for the most locked-in control, favoured by course and advanced skiers. Match the rear to how you ski: foot-out and casual leans to a rubber or adjustable RTP; committed two-feet-in skiing leans to a rear boot.
A complete slalom setup needs a front binding (your front foot goes in fully) plus a rear. The rear can be a full rear boot, which holds your back foot like the front for the most control, or a rear toe plate (RTP) — a simple toe piece your back foot rests in rather than laces into. An RTP lets your back foot slide out more easily (useful for learning deep-water starts or skiing with one foot out), while a full rear boot locks you in for maximum edge control. Front bindings are usually sold separately from the rear.
Most modern slalom bindings mount to the ski's universal insert holes (the standard 6-inch pattern) or bolt onto a plate, so they fit the majority of current slalom skis. Always check your ski's hole pattern, and for a rear boot or rear toe plate, that it matches your front binding's mounting. Note that some rear boots and plates aren't cross-compatible between brands — for example, HO rear boots don't fit rear Radar or Connelly inserts — so confirm the combination before mixing brands.
