The Hyperlite Murray Jnr Girls is a junior wakeboard for young riders building on the basics behind the boat. Shaped by Shaun Murray, its subtle 3-stage rocker gives lift off the wake as skills grow toward jumps and tricks.
It comes in 120cm and 127cm, chosen by the child's weight rather than age or height. Use the manufacturer size chart on this page or our wakeboard size calculator.
The board is compression moulded around Hyperlite's lightweight Biolite 3 core, with a subtle 3-stage rocker for wake lift, a variable edge design — grippy under the feet, forgiving at the tips — and a mellow centre landing spine.
It's built for young riders who can already get up and ride and want to improve — an intermediate junior board. Complete beginners are better served by a stable beginner board from our kids wakeboards range.
Most wakeboards are sold as a board only, so you can match the bindings to your boot size and riding style. A continuous rocker is a smooth, even curve from tip to tail that gives a fast, predictable ride and quick edge-to-edge transitions, ideal for carving and all-round riding. A 3-stage rocker has a flatter middle with more lift at each end, giving a bigger, more vertical pop off the wake for jumps and tricks, with a slightly slower feel through the water.
