  • EPS Core
  • Dual Concave Base
The Hyperlite Time Machine suits advanced male riders wanting a responsive surf-style board. Its dual concave tail locks you in and feeds speed on demand, while the snappy surf shape reacts instantly to weight shifts, so every carve stays sharp and airs pop clean for confident, progression-focused riders.
The Hyperlite Time Machine comes in three sizes: 4'3", 4'7" and 4'11". Lighter riders can size down for a looser, quicker feel, while heavier riders wanting more float and drive should size up. Our wakesurf size guide can help you match length to your weight and skill.
The Hyperlite Time Machine uses DuraShell construction over an EPS core with a dual concave base for a snappy, responsive surf feel. Its fin setup adjusts to conditions: run two 3.5" Flux fins for spin-friendly hold and release, or two 2.0" Drop fins for locked-in drive.
The Hyperlite Time Machine is a surf-style wakesurfer. Its dual concave tail and snappy surf shape favour sharp carving and boosting off the wake, though swapping between the Flux and Drop fins lets you tune between looser release and locked-in drive to suit the conditions.
Surf-style boards have more volume, thicker rails and larger fins, giving strong drive down the line and a surfy, wave-riding feel that suits most riders. Skim-style boards are thinner and flatter with smaller or fewer fins, so they sit looser and skatey on the wave, making spins, shuvits and surface tricks easier but taking more balance. Many riders start on a surf style and move toward skim as they progress.
Wakesurfer size is guided mainly by rider weight and skill: heavier riders and beginners suit a longer board with more volume for easier planing and stability, while lighter or more advanced riders can drop to a shorter, looser board. Board style matters too, as skim boards are usually ridden shorter than surf boards. Check the size guide or ask our team for a recommendation.
