Combo water skis are a pair of skis designed for learning and recreational skiing. They give a stable, forgiving platform to get up and ski on two skis, and most sets let you drop a ski to progress toward slalom. They suit beginners and families, with sizes for kids through to adults.
Combo skis are sized mainly by the skier's weight (and to a lesser extent boat speed), with shorter skis for children and lighter skiers and longer skis for adults. Check the product's recommended weight range and size against the skier before ordering.
Recreational combo skiing is typically done at a comfortable planing speed adjusted to the skier's weight and confidence — lighter and younger skiers ski slower, adults a little faster. Start slow while learning and increase gradually. Check the product for any specific speed guidance.
Most combo ski sets come with adjustable rubber bindings that fit a range of foot sizes, so the whole family can share them. Check the product listing to confirm the bindings and the foot-size range they suit.
Combo skis are sold as a pair. Many sets include a slalom ski with a rear toe plate so a skier can drop down to one ski as they progress, but you start on two. Single slalom skis are sold separately in the slalom range.

Trainer skis

Good until after 1 hour the rope split and couldn’t be used any longer. I have a photo if you want to see it.

Be aware fins are very small

Skis are great on the boom in the smooth water but behind the boat in the turbulence of the wake the fins are way too small and the skis drift about like crazy instead of tracking. Bought them in addition to a set of 59’s as thought would be easier to control for the kids without the stabiliser bar as smaller and easier to sink and keep together which they were but they just drifted like a rally car.Great service etc no gripes with WSW just worth knowing for other potential buyers
