Description

Masterline Progressor Deluxe Mainline

The Masterline Progressor Deluxe Mainline is a slalom water ski rope designed by the world's best ski coaches to help skiers learn the shortline. It runs from 18.25m down to 10.75m, with additional braided-in loops at 18.5', 25', 30', and 33.5' off — line lengths that aren't standard tournament shortenings but make the gap between recreational and tournament loops easier to bridge.

The mainline is hand-braided in the USA from PolyproMAX yarn and pre-stretched to hold section accuracy through repeated passes. Additional loops are braided into the single-line construction sections rather than spliced on, so the rope keeps its handling characteristics across the full shortening range. Includes a rope holder for storage.

Choose the Progressor Deluxe Mainline if you're working from longline towards tournament shortenings and want the in-between loops the standard tournament ropes don't have.

Available Lengths: 18.25m down to 10.75m with additional loops at 18.5', 25', 30', 33.5' off

Designed by the world's best ski coaches, it adds braided-in loops at 18.5', 25', 30' and 33.5' off — line lengths that aren't standard tournament shortenings but bridge the gap between recreational and tournament loops. It runs 18.25m down to 10.75m.
Hand-braided in the USA from PolyproMAX yarn and pre-stretched to hold section accuracy. The extra loops are braided into the single-line construction rather than spliced on, so the rope keeps its handling across the full range. Includes a rope holder.
A water ski rope is defined by its construction, number of shortening sections, and bridle style. Recreational ropes use low-stretch polypropylene with a wide bridle for stability, while tournament mainlines use pre-stretched or knotless sections for consistent, repeatable shortening lengths. Match the rope to your discipline — combo and recreational skiing, slalom, or trick — and pair it with a suitable handle.
A regulation water ski mainline is 23 metres (75 feet) to the handle at its longest, and is divided into shortening sections or loops that let skiers reduce the length as speed and skill increase. Some recreational ropes are a single fixed length. Check the individual product listing for its exact length and section breakdown.
Rinse in fresh water after each use and dry before storing. Coil the rope loosely — tight coiling can set kinks that affect performance. Store in a cool, dry place out of direct UV exposure to preserve the rope and the handle grip. Inspect section connections for wear before each session.
