Masterline Australia is the everyday, affordable side of the Masterline name — the ropes, handles, covers and tube gear that keep social skiers, wakeboarders and families on the water without a tournament budget. If you're after high-end tournament-rated ski lines and handles, those are in the Masterline USA range; this collection is the recreational gear. The rope-and-handle sets cover every towed sport. Ski ropes come with a Long V 'easy-up' handle that holds a single ski steady through the deep-water start, ideal for learners and social skiers. Wakeboard ropes are low-stretch with a wider padded handle, kneeboard sets use a hook-compatible handle, and there's a surf rope and handle for wakesurfing. Most are sold as a complete rope-and-handle package. For towables, tube ropes are rated by the number of riders — match or exceed your tube's rating, and never tow a multi-person tube on a single-person rope. Bungee tube ropes soften the snatch, and outboard bridles spread the tow load across the transom on boats without a ski pole. Covers and bags round out the range: padded covers for slalom and combo skis, wakeboards, kneeboards and wakesurfers, in mens, womens, kids and junior cuts. A cover does most of its work off the water — guarding edges, bases and fins against knocks in the garage, the boat and the car. Browse the full Masterline Australia range online or visit the Brisbane store — give us a call if you're not sure which rope or handle suits your sport.
Masterline Australia is the affordable, recreational range — ropes, handles, covers and tube gear for social skiers and families. Masterline USA is the tournament range, made in Orlando: 3-event slalom, trick and jump lines, tournament handles and competition gloves. Different jobs, same name.
A Long V 'easy-up' handle. The wide V holds a single ski straight through the deep-water start, which makes getting up far easier for beginners and social skiers. Move to a narrower Short V once you can start reliably and want a cleaner pull through the wakes.
Match the rope's rider rating to your tube — a 2-3 person tube needs a 2-3 person rope, and going stronger is always fine. Never tow a multi-person tube on a single-person ski rope. A bungee rope softens the snatch, and an outboard bridle helps boats without a ski pole.
It's cheap insurance. Most damage to skis, boards and kneeboards happens off the water — knocks in the garage, sliding around the boat, the drive to the lake. A padded cover guards the edges, base and fin, and the bags have room for your rope, handle and gear.
